A survey of the many contemporary products & processes used for hoof repair & glue-on shoeing.  Discussion of these controversial techniques that frequently result in conflicting expectations among farriers, veterinarians, and owners.  This presentation discusses some techniques and the pitfalls in communication that each technique presents.

The farrier profession is a difficult and physically demanding profession, ultimately rendering many experienced farriers incapable of continuing to work.  This presentation offers suggestions on how to better manage a farrier practice and to work “smarter, not harder” to increase revenues and manage expenses.

This demonstration will cover the use & application of Sound Horse shoes, including the basics of their application, hints to ease & speed, and the use of glue-on shoes to treat a variety of problems.

Participants will be given some hands-on experience in the use of the Sound Horse Series “glue-on shoes”. Learn this exciting new technology from the inventor -- an expert in this field.

Conference attendees that do not want to get their hands dirty are encouraged to attend the “Hands-on” session and observe their colleagues in action.
